Are you a fantasy writer or reader? Check out this blog hop hosted by Tessa Conte of Tessa's Blurb!
There will be an opportunity to sign up and join the meeting and greeting when the weekly topic matches your area of expertise or interest.
Here is a mocked up "cover" of my fantasy WIP, Briars and Black Hellebore, courtesy of Microsoft Office fonts and clip art. Hehe.
So what genre is your WIP? Are you a fellow fantasy writer? If you happen to be working on a fairy tale- or folklore-based narrative or anything set in medieval times before the Crusades, please introduce yourself so I'll be sure not to miss your blog!

I'm a fantasy YA writer and I love it!!! I have four novels in the works and I'm working on revising my personal favofite (because it's fully written) and in the revisions stage!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday! Thanks for joining the blog fest! I'm happy to have you!
Thanks for joining and posting! I'm glad people are liking the idea...and REALLY REALLY curious to see how many fantasy writers we can get together by next tuesday!
ReplyDeleteLove the new title for your WIP, btw, and great cover, too!

Hello! I'm hopping by on Tessa's blog-hop. I write primarily Urban Fantasy, with themes ranging from angels/demons, vamps/weres, to fairies and modernized myths. Really, I've got ideas for everything and sometimes I lament that I will never get to them all...
ReplyDeleteAnyways, happy writing and blog hopping! Looking forward to being a follower. :)
Scribbler to Scribe
*waves* HI!! I started writing Fantasy novels about a year ago and have written 2 Ghost and 3 Vampire (4th in works).
ReplyDeleteHappy bloghopping!
What a fantastic way to meet new writers!!! I'll have to check the ones out that I don't know. And your cover is awesome! Is that the title you're going with for sure, then?
ReplyDeleteI'm a long-time follower of yours, Genie. And my genre is science fantasy. I'm currently writing a ghostly murder mystery serial on my blog where I am trapped in my own fictional world, wanted for the murder of the ghost of Ernest Hemingway. And my companions are the ghosts of Marlene Dietrich and Mark Twain (what a pair, right?) Roland
ReplyDeleteHi everybody!! I am loving some of the new blogs I've found already. Still working on getting through the list when no one's looking at work. ;)
ReplyDeleteMichelle: That's just a new, shorter and more fun working title. It may change later, especially if I finish and enter the publication process. (Fingers crossed, when they aren't typing.)
Good luck with your book! Looking good! Loved your short story "Dear Hideo" by the way!
ReplyDeleteI don't write genres, but my stories have quite a bit of what would be considered paranormal, "fantastic" writing. To me it's real life. I'm a witch. You write what you know or at least start with that.
ReplyDeleteFascinating cover. Very impressive.
ReplyDeleteI don't really consider myself a fantasy writer, though my current WIP includes a fully fictional world and magic, so many it's a little fantastical.
Hi - just hopping through!
ReplyDeleteI write paranormal fantasy, both YA and adult. But I also love fantasy with magic and plotting and evil sorcerers...
Nice job w/ both the bad boy and bad girl blogfest entries!
